VINTAGE AND REPURPOSED FABRICS

Using vintage or repurposed fabric makes your piece extra special, as there’s only a finite amount of bags that can be made from this particular material. It also means the fabric can be somewhat more delicate. Small irregularities, such as minor pulls or colour inconsistencies can occur in vintage fabrics, as these fabrics have lived a life before they’ve found their way to me. I do my best to avoid these when cutting, as much as I possibly can. Any small inconsistencies are not considered a fault, but a personality trait of using repurposed or vintage fabrics and should be celebrated.

CARE

  • Spot cleaning marks with a damp cloth or airing out is recommended over hand washing

  • However if really dirty, you can gently hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Fabric may fade with wash and wear
